Sarah Furlong is a fourth-year graduate student working with Dr. Margaret Sheridan in the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program in the UNC department of Psychology and Neuroscience. She earned her B.A. in Cognitive Science with a minor in Psychology at Johns Hopkins University in 2014. After graduation, Sarah worked as the lab manager for Dr. Elissa L. Newport at the Georgetown University Learning and Development Lab in the Center for Brain Plasticity and Recovery. Sarah studies the development and flexibility of functional brain networks and the diagnosis and treatment of developmental disorders, particularly attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, in early childhood.
